Hi Kim,
You pose a very good question! We have noticed that sometimes the key staff from a company will resign, and then re-appear as consultants in a different company - effectively outsourcing themselves. We've also seen situations where a company will reduce the size of one particular department, and then attempt to re-hire the same workers on contract basis to gain more flexibility.
We suspect there will be more of this in the years ahead. Companies outsourcing more work, and workers moving frequently between companies.

interesting comments especially "near sourcing" as trend. if it is so near between outsourcing and in-sourcing company, what is stopping the HR from in-sourcing from joining the outsourcing company.
